You may think that storyboards as something big studios produce while preparing to make movies, animated films, and tv shows, but they’re not limited to big productions. Even a short, 30-second ad can benefit from storyboarding. How? Colton is here to explain.

How does a storyboard help? Storyboards provide a visual guide for how your script will play out. They help ensure that we’re filming the right footage from the right angles, and make sure that you, the client, and are on the same page with the production team.

Sometimes, when the storyboard is all laid out, you see things that made sense on paper not make sense in a visual flow. You may want to remove or replace some scenes with a different visual or extend some scenes to replace others that you want removed.

Seeing your script as a storyboard makes sure everyone is on the same page and you’re getting the video you want. Have more questions about storyboarding? Reach out to us today about your video project.
