Reading a script if you aren’t familiar with them can be difficult. Colton is here to break down the basics for you.

  • Every script has a Scene heading. It tells you where the script is located. 
  • After that, you see the action, which tells you what is going on in the scene.
  • Then will follow the character and their dialog. This can be spoken by the person, or it could be voice over. 

There are other things that can happen in a script, but those are the basic things to look out for.
