Live “editing” is actually done through a camera control room. The images you see on the screens at the event are manually chosen by the person monitoring the feeds. Same-Day turnaround is taking footage shot that day, offloading it onto a computer, watching it, cutting it, and adding transitions, music and other things to the final video that is then exported and ready to be uploaded or otherwise used. Both have their applications and their uses at an event.
