The term “Server backup” is likely one that you’re heard if you’ve worked for any major business. But how does it work really? And what is the purpose?
Greg lets you know how we handle things here at AMP. We backup our files locally, daily. This saves our days work- including your video and audio footage, assets, and project files. THEN every evening, we back up our server remotely to an off-location server. This redundancy helps cover any issues that might arise.
One computer’s hard drive fails? No problem, we’ll restore form the local server. Lightning strikes our building and fries all PC’s including our local server? We’ll just link up with our remote server and get the files from there.
No matter what, we have all your footage, project files and videos stored safely.
